About Me
My name is Shradha Kesari
Hello! My name is Shradha Kesari, and I am the founder of CancerHeroesNetwork.com. I'm currently a high school student at Irvington High School, set to graduate in 2026.
My journey to founding Cancer Heroes Network is a very personal one. I've witnessed firsthand the arduous battles of four individuals very close to my heart who faced cancer. Their journeys were long and incredibly challenging, and tragically, two of them did not survive. Cancer is not just a physical fight; it's an immense mental and emotional one. Even survivors I know continue to grapple with the lingering shadow of their experience, a struggle that fuels my commitment to supporting others. This profound impact on those I care about deeply has ignited within me a passion to create a positive change in the lives of cancer patients, particularly our youngest heroes.
My Cancer Research
The Effects of Mental Stress on Cancer Development
My research explored the profound link between mental stress and cancer development. I found a clear correlation: sustained mental stress can contribute to both the initiation and progression of various cancers.
This discovery strongly reinforces the Cancer Heroes Network's core belief in holistic recovery, emphasizing that integrating mental health support is just as vital as medical treatment for our young heroes.

Girl Scouts
As a long-standing Girl Scout, I've cultivated strong leadership skills through organizing community service projects and mentoring 10 younger troop members.
Heart to Paws Club Secretary
As secretary, I ensure smooth communication and organization, managing schedules, deadlines, and logistics for events.
Basketball
Through basketball, I've developed strong teamwork, unity, and a commitment to excellence.
COSMOS Summer Program
My participation in this intensive program involved exploring molecular biology techniques and working in interdisciplinary teams to design experiments, fostering teamwork and scientific communication skills.
Step Into Sports Club Publicity Officer
In this role, I was responsible for organizing and promoting engaging training sessions, creating promotional materials, and monitoring feedback.
Emergency Medical Responder Course
I am currently undertaking an Emergency Medical Responder course, gaining critical knowledge and skills related to medical emergencies.
